Has been putting in work in the Drum&Bass Hiphop and Rock scene since 1993 Studying Studio Engineering at Palomar College in San Diego.
Featured on Many Hiphop releases as a studio engineer and beat productions at Revolt Recording Studios, Gigging with Live Metal Rock Bands playing Lead Guitar, plus Releasing his own Drum&bass EPs on CDs and Vinyl back in 2003.
After taking a 10 year Break from the music scene Living in Las Vegas, Mark Anthony returns to San Diego in 2013 Djing as Marcadelik opening for A list DJs like “Zomboy & Cookie Monsta at Somewhere Loud” , Headlining “Return of the Bass at Somewhere Loud”, and Spinning at “Organized Grime”,
Plus starting his own Record Label Bass Grime Records.
Releasing over 100 Tracks on Beatport, Itunes, Goggle Play, Amazon and More in the styles of Drum&Bass ,Dubstep, Hip Hop and Trap Music.
Now resides in Los Angeles/Las Vegas, Mark Anthony starts the Collaboration of Nappy Soldier. Joining the Fight of the Junglist Soldiers with Over 400k video views of Facebook and Youtube. Hyped, Loud, Rugged and Energetic are words that best describe this phenomenal performer. Superstar MC Mickey Flair is a true underground Jungle/Drum and Bass professional front man with his signature wide-toothed grin, over –the –top vocals and a seemingly unending array of ADIDAS clothing and shoes. He is truly a remarkable mixture of boisterous bravado and blushing humility.
As a youth Flair began writing rhymes and lyrics at the age of 11. After many years honing and sharpening his abilities he then moved into the serious world of East Coast hardcore underground hip-hop under the name ICEMAN LE GRANDE with a group called C.D.Q. (Cool, Deadly and Quick). With the sudden and tragic death of the other two members he returned home to the Los Angeles/Riverside areas of California and continued to record and perform as a soloist.
In the early 1990’s, Flair discovered Electronic music and Rave culture and became a local mainstay, fixture and attendee at almost every event in So. Cal and with ease found himself playing venues in around Los Angeles as well as San Diego including 4th and B. and the San Diego Sports Arena.
As an artist Superstar MC Mickey Flair draws on his hip-hop influences and speaks directly to the audience in clear, precise and intelligible lyrics with a raucous party rock style that borders on maniacal abandon. His raspy, booming voice and familiar call and response explosions have been described as unmistakable, original and long remembered after the event. The man’s energy is unbound and infectious.
Now, as a member of NAPPY SOLDIER, Flair embodies the essence of a quintessential Jungle/Drum and Bass Drill Instructor pushing the audience to shout and dance with the music.
